It expands on the CTBUH’s “Year in Review” report with more in-depth analysis and graphics. The inaugural edition highlights the milestone of over 2,000 buildings exceeding 200 meters in height and examines trends in their function, materials, and locations. It also discusses the rapid expansion of megacities, with the UN predicting that 68% of the global population will live in urban areas by 2050. The data was collected from CTBUH’s database and government sources up to August 1, 2023.
